Grief to Energy, a fundraising musical concert organized to raise funds for Nepal flood victims. Nepal Flood, a flash flood presumably triggered by a glacier avalanche, wiped out villages, and has now claimed the lives of more than one thousand people. Five thousand people are still accounted for, and the affected zones need immediate monetary or non-monetary relief. This concert features one of the most popular bands of Nepal- Kandara.
Kandara Band was founded in Pokhara, Nepal, in 1992. With over three decades of progressive journey, they have become synonymous with authentic Nepali music — representing home, heritage, and cultural pride. Their music has built a shared identity that resonates deeply both within local communities and the global Nepali diaspora. As they honor their legacy, they continue to reimagine it — embracing new technologies and creative innovations to keep the story alive for generations to come.
