Imagine Youth Theater, a division of Winston-Salem Festival Ballet presents Chicago (High School Edition) by arrangement with Concord Theatricals. Adapted in collaboration with iTheatrics, Kander & Ebb’s legendary, award-winning musical about fame, fortune, and acquittal is specifically designed to be content-appropriate.
In roaring twenties Chicago, chorine Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the rap…until he finds out he’s been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another “Merry Murderess,” Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the “American Dream”: fame, fortune, and acquittal.
Box Office hours are 12-5 PM, Monday through Friday. We can be reached at 336-887-3001. Any ticket orders processed directly through the Box Office will not be subject to the $4 per ticket convenience fee like online purchases. The Box Office can email your tickets directly to you and you may either print them at home or pull them up on your mobile phone. You may also pick them up at Will Call on the night of the show. If you wish us to mail your tickets, we will be happy to do so for a $1 mailing charge.
In the event of cancellation, Imagine Youth Theater is unable to provide refunds or rainchecks.
