Step back in time to late 19th century Vienna as the A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute presents a beloved classic, Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, translated as The Bat. Timeless melodies soar through this comedic tale of a philandering husband, a clever wife and a fountain of champagne!
 
Pairing laughter and romance with sparkling wit and infectious charm, this operetta is welcoming for opera aficionados and novices alike. Premiered in 1874 at Theatre an der Wien in Vienna, it continues to be one of the most frequently performed operettas worldwide.
