Where is the theatre located?
The High Point Theatre is located in downtown High Point, North Carolina, at 220 East Commerce Avenue. The theatre is in the northeast corner of the International Home Furnishing Center building.

Where should we park?
Parking is available on the street, in the parking deck next to the Radisson Hotel (There is a charge); in City Hall spaces at the corner of Hamilton & Commerce and Hamilton & E. Green (Don’t park in spaces designated for 911 Dispatchers); in the IMC Buyers Parking Lot opposite City Hall on Commerce Avenue. Parking

Who do I call about lost and found property?
Articles lost during a performance are turned into the office. Please call 336-883-3401.

Can I receive an emergency call?
Anyone expecting emergency calls is asked to leave his/her seat location with the House Manager. The phone number to be called for emergencies is 336-883-3625. As a courtesy to other members of the audience, the theatre management requests that all cell phones are silenced while you are in the auditorium.

What is the theatre smoking policy?
Smoking is prohibited in the High Point Theatre. A sidewalk area near the High Point Theatre’s front doors is available for use by our smoking patrons.

May I bring my own food and drink to the show?
No, you cannot bring food or drinks into the facility. The Theatre has a concession stand located just inside the front doors that is open before events and during intermission with a selection of light snacks, sodas, coffee and bottled water. Beer and Wine are available for purchase at most events.

What about late seating?
Theatre management reserves the right to seat latecomers at its discretion.

May I take pictures or record the show?
For the majority of our events, the taking of pictures and/or video recording is strictly prohibited. Any patron who brings a camera or recording equipment into the theatre may be asked to leave it with the House Manager. This equipment will be returned to the patron after the event is over.

What facilities do you have to accommodate people with physical disabilities?
The High Point Theatre is equipped with a hearing assistance system. A patron may request a headset receiver from the lobby ushers or the House Manager. There is a ramp just inside the front doors to connect the entrance to the main lobby area. All lobby bathrooms are handicapped accessible. Our lobby and auditorium smoke detection system is equipped with both visible and audible alarms.

I can’t make it to the show. Will you refund my tickets?
All ticket sales are final. No refunds are granted. Exchanges are only possible when there are multiple performances of the same show, and then only 24 hours prior to the show for which you have already purchased a ticket. In these cases a $5.00 exchange fee per order will apply.

Does my child/infant need a ticket if he/she sits on my lap during the show?
All patrons attending a performance at the High Point Theatre are required to have a ticket, regardless of age.

I have flowers/ gifts for a performer. Can I get them sent backstage? What should I do with them during the show?
The Theatre requests that all gifts and flowers be left in the lobby area during performances. During Dance Recitals there will be tables designated for flowers, with notecards and tape provided for you to put your performer’s name on their flowers.
